When my late father-in-law's Navy Memorial Shadow box came crashing to the ground, the glass shattered, I needed a custom piece of glass made ASAP.

I found these folks after being referred to them from my local hardware store.

What I received was quick and outstanding service, which also includes a "thank you for youre Dads Service" note attached to the box.

The repair was reasonable and this company displayed a total "no job is too small" attitude!

I could also see they do major window installs too.

It's not easy finding someone to replace brand-name, dual-pane custom windows in San Diego. Fortunately there is a professional team at Glenview Glass & Screen (in El Cajon, CA) that can get it done right.

One of the small windows in our living room was broken, I believe by a bird. (They occasionally fly into our bigger windows, sometimes at their own peril. I was surprised to see this one broken with no bird body below it.) Anyway, I called around and after reaching a few other vendors, Denise at Glenview Glass said they could replace the window.

If you know about how dual-pane cartridges/modules need to be fabricated at the factory for a proper seal, you can guess you're not going to get next-day service. When in doubt, put up some plywood. Fortunately in our case, only the outer pane was broken.

Randy came out to measure, then later returned to install the replacement module which included the requisite tempered glass, due to the low height of the window. He did a great job, and gave me the pro-tip to NEVER buy gray duct tape as I saw how much adhesive residue was left on the window frame from my "bar" across the damaged window, providing anyone with a visual notice of the situation. (Black duct tape works better.)

Anyway, as a former SoCal investment property owner/manager, I started the habit of making a note of contractors I can count on in the future. Glenview Glass has taken that spot for glass installation & repair here in San Diego.

I didn't just want the original windows replaced on my 1940 home. I wanted them Bigger (and some smaller) and different kinds.......and yet look perfect with the Bones of my house and neighborhood. Sound Challenging? Well, that didn't scare Craig and Randy (or Denise) one bit. I still can't believe they got everything done in 4 days like they promised. My neighbors keep complimenting me on my home's transformation but I really need to give the credit where it is due. This project turned out gorgeous...inside and out. It was important to Craig that I was happy with the final results to the extent he even made a home depot run in the middle of the project and got more moulding to perfectly match the crafstmen style of my house. His team of workers were skilled, tidy and fast. I wouldn't hesitate to call them if I had more windows.

I just have to brag about the excellent customer service by Miss Dee Dee at Glenview Glass. I have a 3-panel glass door that I bought from Dixieline, and after 5 years, it needs some servicing to correct some misalignment. I was given many runarounds by Dixieline. In the end, Dixieline would not and could not service my door, citing the reason that they did not install it the first time. They offered many times to call me back for recommendation on an alternate solution, but they never did, and for 2 weeks, I had to call them multiple times to follow-up. I was finally given the contact at Glenview Glass. Dee Dee answered my call and she is absolutely amazing in the way she diligently follows-up and goes the extra mile to ensure that my problem got resolved. I want to congratulate Glenview Glass for having such an incredible employee like Dee Dee. I highly recommend Glenview Glass to you!

I've worked with this family business for many years and found their work to be excellent and prices competitive. They helped me with my rentals, family home and a condo flip.

About 18 months ago, we hired Glenview Glass and Screen to install our windows, which we purchased through Dixieline. (Dixieline subcontracted the entire job through Glenview.) I wanted to wait until we went through a couple of winters before doing this review. If it weren't for this company, we would have given up replacing our old, single pane aluminum windows. Other contractors who came out to look at the project saw the unusual way our windows were originally installed and declined to do the project. Glenview was the first company that welcomed the challenge, and they used their creativity and can-do attitude to get the entire home done in less than two days. Our situation didn't allow for the customary "pop out and pop in" window replacement. My husband was impressed that all of the window dimensions that Glenview measured resulted in perfectly-sized windows being delivered to our home. There were no errors in any of the window sizing or styling. The entire team was wonderful to have onsite. No more portable fans are needed in the home during the summer heat, and it's quieter inside as well! Zero problems, 100% satisfied!

It was a pleasure working with Glenview Glass and Screen. They did an excellent job installing four large windows in the front of our home.

The most important aspect of their service, in my opinion, is the attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection in their work. We have a brick home, which made the installation more difficult than for a standard wood and stucco home. But everyone involved took their time and made sure that they did this job perfectly right.

Owner Craig Hall did an excellent job of arranging the team for this challenging job, and he was very responsive with information whenever we had a question about something. Randy, the supervisor, was also very helpful and made sure that everything was done in the best way possible. It was clear these guys wanted to do the best job possible for us. Juan, the lead technician, lived up to his reputation as a wizard with windows. Again, though the bricks presented a challenge, he did an excellent job from beginning to end. And Eric, the other technician, was also outstanding, a hard worker, and a very pleasant and nice guy. Mike came by one of the days to help, and he, too, was great.

All in all, it was a real pleasure working with this fine group of craftsmen. It's always inspiring to watch professionals do an excellent job at their craft, especially when they overcome challenges and obstacles to achieve an outstanding result.

These guys really know how to impress. They show up in masks on time. They text to let you know they are on their way with the names of who are coming. They work efficiently and friendly. I can't believe in two days we had all new beautiful windows. The windows are great also. They are sound blocking and energy efficient. We can't hear dogs barking from the neighbors anymore. It's more difficult to see in from outside but we can see everything outside from inside. Love this company and our new windows!!!!! The big window companies are all about price and Glenview Glass and Screen is concerned about customer satisfaction at a reasonable price.

Today John and Dave serviced my busted Milgard window rollers, screen door, window screens and front door. The two men were extremely professional, well mannered and did an outstanding job problem solving the "issues" we continued to run into with this "newly purchased" house.
When John and Dave tried to explain the issue, I asked to explain using "non-window words" (since I don't talk windows or California lol). I learned so much about what as fixed, how to maintain the newly fixed items and so much more!!!!

Excellent customer service and screen repair. After buying a house, I noticed one window screen was bent on one edge. I took it in thinking I would need to have a replacement screen made. The best thing was they were able to replace just one edge on my screen, saving everything that was still good. The work took less than a day and was wonderfully priced. Keep America working. Working with Glenview was easy peasy and I'm so happy our local Dixieline recommended I deal with Glenview directly for two new Security Screen Doors. OMG ... the doors are beautiful. Randy and Mike showed up on time and it did take a bit of work as our home was built in the 50's. Randy did a fabulous job of re-framing the openings and the doors look great. I just wanted to give my highest recommendation to Glenview Glass and Screen and all their staff. My window job was quite complicated since my window was on the roof. The job entailed walling in the current window and creating a new window space in the wall (where the window should have been when the house was built). It was an extensive job and required coordination with the roofing company, framer, stucco and drywall. As promised, they were done in 3 days and everything went smoothly. This is a highly professional company that goes the extra mile for you. Very dependable and honest. If you need glass or screen work done I would not hesitate to use them.

I was very impressed with the services provided by Glenview Glass & Screen. An attempted burglary was made on my home. My rear sliding glass door was shattered and severely damaged in the process. I recently had Glenview measure, order, and install new windows in my home. They showed up on time, their workers were neatly dressed and didn't reek of cigarette smoke, and the installation went smoothly. I looked at an existing window in my home and compared the caulking job to the ones newly installed and even that was done far better by Glenview. I appreciate their prompt communication, texting me when they were on the way, and how easy they made it making the payments for the windows. I have already lined them up to measure another property.
